Tomorrow I will be receiving a new laser projector for dissection. This unit is not a hybrid like the Ca$io projectors. The best case scenario is there are red didoes in there and blue diodes making the blue and green light. I will be posting the information as soon as I tear it down. Keep your fingers crossed for 500mW 635's.

Here is some more info that Kiyoukan found.

    So only blue diodes...

They are $1850 retail and at this point we know they are powered by 24 blue diodes. What we don't know is what the diodes are. I am thinking they would have to be pretty strong as there would have to be some loss making the green, yellow and red with the color wheel. They may also have some very interesting optics in them.

Also i have been looking into this more and im starting to see that there might not be dichros.
It may be just as simple as the diagram i posted shows.
If that is true then does that mean i could put it in front of a lower powered laser and change the color of the beam kinda like a color filter?
    TO CDBEAM
There are no red lasers in this projector.
Sadly just blue lasers only not even a red led...

Yep they had me when they it said it was not a Hybrid. I did not think about making red with a color wheel.

Still will be fun to see what is inside for the blues and the other optics and goodies in there.
