    Hi Jim,

Sorry to hear you are selling up.
Would like to take the FB3 though - I could do with the livepro license.

As far as I know, LiveProUSB (the FB3 version) is $250 direct from Pangolin. At least thats what I paid a year or 2 back and I don't believe I got any special deal. That said, I've also heard $350 thrown around but I believe this was in relation to the QM version. The FB3 version was cheaper because it had less features was what I was told.

Perhaps Pangolin are not being consistent with their pricing but $350 QM, $250 FB3 sounds about right to me.

Did they really take $600 off you for each LP license?

EDIT: Sorry, my apologies, I've just checked my original invoice from 2008 and it was $345, I think I had 250 in my head because thats what the exchange rate made it in GB£

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

    Hi Norty ,

Mmm , not desparate to sell , just in case anyone specifically looking for LIVE PRO version a little bit cheaper than buying direct from pangolin , at least as i thought , price detailed here on BUYPAGE is $695 , didnt realise the FB3 compatible LIVE PRO was cheaper ... $345 sounds like a half price deal ... mayb they like you :-) or you purchased during a SALE which they seem to have maybe once a year.

Based on Nortys price im open to a little negotion if anyone intererested , I will get around to listing on ebay eventually !

    Question

They usually do a nice sale around the winter holidays. When is your invoice from Norty?

It was Christmas time 2008 but I asked Bill specifically if the USB version was covered by their holiday specials, and he said it wasn't - I was hoping to get it cheaper!

I think they do a bit of discount if you buy it at the same time as the hardware, and as I had not too distantly purchased an FB3, they did it at the bundle price. The invoice doesn't specify.

    mayb they like you :-)
I could show you emails that said otherwise...

Perhaps the best way to sort it is to just ask Bill what it costs normally, then we all know once and for all.

Ok, email sent, I've asked him to clarify.

At least we'll know in the future what the market rate is for it, even if some individuals got discount due to holiday specials or whatever.

Even at $345 Jim's deal is very good though, but I just don't need a third LP license...
