You could try a Nicotine inhalator - really helps me in such situations..

People there are saying they can be expensive, which I've not noticed as they are on prescription for me over here. (and a free prescription might I add.. insane!) oh and they are also saying that it looks like a Tampon .. This had not occured to me!!

But, if you're keen to stop - these really help.. you just have to weigh up if you want to still be consuming Nicotine..

Anyway, big ups mate!!! Your doing well!

    Cheers,

You just reminded me of a box of these I have had stashed from a failed New Years resolution a few years back! Oh that feels so much better. Sometimes we just need a crutch.

Actually.. I don't find that.. you must be sucking for Aussie..

And I have a admission to make..

This morning I slipped up, pissed off with Mrs I stormed out of the house without applying my daily patch.

Bad mood and lack of willpower, I went and bought 10 Marlboro's - smoked them ALL on my drive to work. (Takes me about 1 and 1/2 hrs to work)

    Bought pack of patches

    Back on the bandwagon again.

Feel kinda shit.. just fucked six weeks worth of hard non smoking graft in an hour..

Bugger. Don't look at the last six weeks as a failure, its not. Think of those 10 ciggies as a minor blip in the 6 week timeline and move on keep going.

I have been clashing wife my wife for a few weeks now, I sat her down the day I actually stopped to tell her of my medication and plan to quit. I asked her for her support and to pull her head in (well not in those words lol).

Find something else to take out any stress that comes along, like blowing shit up or something. In a safe manner of course. I have an old 26" TV here that is going to cop a brick in the tube should I feel the need. I also have a solid piece of wood known as a "cricket bat" that comes in handy for releaving stress, just like Spinal Tap's tour manager.

17 days and 0 smokes, but I have to say I have hit a wall today, I am really struggling with cravings and my mood is very depressed... I fly out tomorrow, I am hoping that will take my mind off it.

Thumbs up 17 days is good!

I quit on May 3rd... so I am with ya main! Mine might have a bit more in the craving department, although I couldn't just light up anywhere. I have been fairly craving free for 3 or so weeks. I seem to be drinking a bit more though. You'll be alright!
