I bought this a few months ago and it is serving me well - edson made a great laser projector! I just wanted to know if either one of you might know the answer to this problem I'm having...

In LiveQuick, there is a slider that adjusts laser brightness, and it works perfectly. In LivePro, I do not see this option. Is there any way to change this particular projector's brightness during a playing show in LivePro? Thanks

In the live control panel on the right hand side of the screen you'll see a colour swatch wheel. Just to the left of this are 3 vertical sliders. Brightness is either the left or middle one of these (I forget right now). The little icons at the top and bottom are white and black respectively.

I saw the slider and used it as the show was playing, but the output from the laser stayed at 100% The only time there was a change in brightness was when the slider was all the way down, and then there was no output. Any ideas on why the slider only allows my laser to go at either 100% or 0%? thanks again, this is a big help!

TTL modulation will have two settings (on and off) unless PWM driven. How is your modulation configured?

Also check that the laser driver is in analogue mode, not TTL and make sure that the driver is connected to the Red channel (for single colour operation) and not the intensity (which is on or off, usually used to drive a shutter)

I will check those hardware configurations and reply soon, however I think I should say that fading and analog modulation works with the slider in LiveQuick, just not with the slider in LivePro. Is there a software problem somewhere along the line instead of a hardware problem?

Yeah, check out how LivePRO has your projector configured.
