    4 tenths is pretty good, but still probably two orders of magnitude wider then the OP needs. I'm sure it would be much better then a free running diode.

    Thanks for the education. I assume you also make them some where around 804-808 nm?

    Yes, we can do that at every wavelength from 640nm to 1940nm.
