Hi, if I interpret his instructions correctly, the point isn't to have them running at the same time, it's to run the searcher first, then close it, then open the desired control program (LSX). You only have to do this once because it saves the info.
The fiesta .net searcher creates an .ini file here:
c:\Users\"User name"\AppData\Local\Showtacle\Fiesta.NET\Fiesta.NE TDevices.ini
where your user name should be substituted. Check for this .ini file. If the showtacle .dll that comes with LSX still can't find it, I'll contact them to ask what's going on.
on my disk the path is:
C:\Users\gabriele\AppData\Local\Showtacle\Fiesta.N ET
the Fiesta.NETDevices.ini contains these strings:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Fiesta.NET><ChangeIP>22</ChangeIP><UsedNetworkAdapter>{C763FA54-DAF4-40FC-9ADA-3F9F1FB0C4A2}</UsedNetworkAdapter><FNETDevice><IP>128</IP><Type>1</Type><Port>140</Port></FNETDevice></Fiesta.NET>
in LaserShow Xpress directory there is a Fiesta.dll file but LSX don't see any interface.
Ok, I guess it's time to ring up the Fiesta guys and ask them why their .dll isn't seeing their card. Will keep you updated.
Once more thing, LSX doesn't 'phone home' but some of its .dlls do try to access the network looking for their cards (netlase). So if you've blocked LSX net access at your firewall, of course this means the fiesta .dll that it loads also won't be able to find its card.
is not LSX, is not Digisynth but could be a good inspiration to mix both worlds.

Hi Drlava!
any news about new LSX upgrades?
please, don't stop your work.
Hi, yep. I've added a new thing or two, just adding a few more before another release. Don't worry, it's not stopped![]()
