here's a LSX show i've been working on. it's loosely based off of the actual music video. i still have some tweaking to do, but it's far enough along to show. sorry about the camera flicker. it looks *much* better in real life.

LSX + Ether-dream is really proving to be an excellent combo and thank you to dr.lava and j4cbo for providing some really amazing behind the scenes support.

how do you make those effect so precisely react to audio? do you sync them manually or do you use Wave as source for Expression in the transitions? thanks

I used wave as the expression source so the effects are modulated by the music.

New update posted 20120708! a few bugfixes/enhancements.. the biggest non-bugfix change being now you have the ability to convert groups of timeline events to and from SFX containers for sharing, putting into your library, or treating as a 'group' for stretching and shrinking in time. Personally, I've found it easiest to work directly in the timeline and when an effect/sequence/animation is complete, package it up in a script fx event for copying or saving/importing and browsing in an effects library.

Hi, yes! LSX has had this capability for a while now. You can do it with the MIDI interface or the native OSC remote control interface (or both) on iPad or android using OSCPad or touchOSC. With these you have full control of your animations, abstracts, and live show playback.

    Hi Andrew,

    great work!

wow, now we can nest events:

3 timelines nested into one group. Then I duplicated the 3 groups and nested into one super group....it works.

the sync is real time based on the audio data. it's a very easy effect to set up in LSX.
