Hi Adrian Bugger! I can still do Friday. I fly out lunch time Sunday.

If we do Friday we can determine the start time based on what time you guys can make it after work.

Just thought I'd try and pin down some of the details for our LEM so we can start planning around it.

How does 7:00pm Friday the 24th sound?

Is that enough time for you guys who are working to get there?

Adrian, I suggested my friend Rohan invite Hooves. I believe you guys are friends to. Maybe you could give him a call as well.
Edit- scrub that, I think he is playing a Glastonbury that weekend).

I've emailed Jase (jasefos) to see if he is keen.
Maybe he might want to bring his PA system if noise isn't a problem at the venue.
People who are so inclined might want to have a mix or we could just play net radio to have some tunes to Live Pro to.

Has anyone had any firm leads on a venue?

Does anyone have 3D Studio Max on their notebook? I haven't seen it used before.
I wouldn't mind someone showing me the basic concept of how it works so I can look at bridging my engineering centric CAD skills with an artistic package suitable for producing content for laser projections.

If you can make it on friday, can you confirm?
Also what gear are you bringing?

This way we can fill in any bits of missing equipment we need and other logistics.

When we have more confirmations I'll update the current status of things in my original post.

Also Dave mentioned Adrian was checking out a venue but that's not yet confirmed.

I'll be bringing:

• my 3+ W projector

• a laptop or two

• QM.Net

• FB3 x 2

• Network cable 50m

• ILDA Cables

• 2 x MatILDA 1:3 buffered splitters

• 2 x power boards

• 2 x power extensions 10m & 25m

• Stands

I don't have 3DStudioMax but I do have some 3D software that can output 3ds files. We could always have a go with that.

Yeah, Ill be there, pretty sure Adrian will too, however I'm not sure the venue Adrian had in mind ( his work office space ) is going to be a goer. I'll rack my brains..

It would be nice to have a venue with a 32A socket of some description ;-)
