Dont worry the projector freezes on its current animation. Its not scanning behind its savety area.Im using a riya lite cable. Its not savety im worried about, its the freezes. I guess blue died on me yesterday night by just pure bad luck. But im not going to use that fogger again thats for sure. Its always causing troubles, as much as i like its output.

EDIT: anyways, song 1 was a success

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but just to summarize:

You have a PC with known freezing issues.
You have a fogger that you know causes some sort of electrical problems when used.

I would have thought you would be happy with the show because to be fair, the equipment did exactly what was expected of it.

In your favour, often the audience is not always aware of the extent of technical problems, because they have no expectations of what it 'should' have looked like (I've lost a green out of a matched pair of RGB projectors and people I've spoken to haven't noticed the missing colour on one side, they're still just 'Ooh! Look at the layzooors!').
However, I think you have learned a valuable lesson in that you shouldn't gig with a known weak link in the system, as if it can go wrong, it will do (just the same as not upgrading/patching software the night before a job!).
It can be more damaging to your reputation to do a gig with sub standard kit, than not do it at all, but I also realise you are doing this as a friend and favour.

On the plus side, did you find the bar and did everyone have a good time? It was a wedding after all!

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I would start with a fresh reinstall of your windows. As i recall last time your mobo died, your friend just swapped the boards and you let windows detect all the hardware, since that was working fine. That's a recipe for hanging/ stalling pcs.for the rest.... well done !
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.

Saw this one from my mobile but couldn't reply.

However, for reference for future readers I agree with some of the earlier comments that regarding the fogging levels by McCarrot, as in my experience too, less is sometimes more.

With low powered levels the exact amount of fog used is critical. A little bit too much can block the beams just as badly as too little fails to define them.

When I had my 700mw LW projector, I found simply adding a single puff too much of smoke would result in a significant drop in brightness. From my own experience, I'd say with lower powers you have to haze very carefully and amounts of haze are very very critical. Get it right and the beams look bright. Get it slightly too little or too much and the brightness can drop 50% or more simply from the lack or addition of that extra puff of smoke.
