Are we interested in seeing more Chinese product advertized here?

I kinda get the feeling that PL is a place for people that have the real interest in working with laser systems. People here are seasoned experts and have worked in the industry for years. People here *INVEST* large amounts of *MONEY* and *TIME* into building fantastic pieces. You guys here are experienced. It takes time to design, craft,create these incredible works of art.
these Chinese systems feel Walmart-ish. just plug and play. Its the *cheapening* of the hobby.They dont care about the lasers,the artwork,the craftsmanship.
All they are about is the $$$.
It seems like its a slap in the face to the people here that do spend the time and money on building and creating a real piece of craftsmanship.
I see the pride that goes into each projector,and the reach for the goal of performing a live event.

I am building my first projector with Adams help. I spent time making the parts, thinking about how to get the layout to fit in a tiny space,and to make the system work. I assembled it and gave it to Adam to finalize, improve and wire it out.
I am learning the thought process that goes into building these.

This is why I feel that the wallmartjectors should maybe be sold elsewhere

My beef with the chinese trashjectors is that it feels like a slap in the face to those that have taken the time to do the homework, spend the money, think about the construction, do the milling, machining, glueing, soldering, troubleshooting,aligning,training, variancing and finally, creating the artwork that will be displayed thru said works of art.
With these Far easters, its like the cheapening of everything.. Yeah so it costs 399 bucks for wang chung projector companys laser show. its plug it in and go.
It feels wallmart-ish.
Its like comparing sex with a rubber blow up doll to sex with a real woman! (and NO I havnt had sex with a rubber doll, so I guess im a bit biased there).
I talked to this guy xiochan & the lilly gal, and they dont give a rip to hell about lasers!
they just want money!
Just my humble opinion which probably is all effed up to begin with.

It's even more disappointing when peoples for which you usually did lasershows as a laserist, will realize they can now buy a few complete chinese RGB laser projector for the amount you will have charged for only one lasershow... And as non-technical guys, they don't always understand the difference between your hardware/service and the cheap chinese hardware...

It's really quite simple...
If I was a worm farmer and seller I could probably
go to eBay and try to touch the anglers out there...
and get a few nibbles....

Or... I could go onto a Fishing forum to try to try and
sell them... and maybe get quite a few strikes....

Just saying.... perhaps a reason why they come on PL....
