still not 100% clear. (and yes i love to see an "hole" in the law)
Like i said i already know trading them and selling them is not allowed.

some guy got his 1W 445nm pointer confiscated and got it back after 2 months because it was not illigal. also a story where a cop said in "de telegraaf" that pointers are illigal unless used as weapon to shine on people.

but thanks again, i will share this link with more people on LPF and call the VWA tommorow.

Thanks for this article about laserpointers. I always wondered if it is legal or illigal to sell or use laserpointers with that kind of power.
Who would need a 1 watt pointer just to point out a thing ?

I love laserpointers as much as i love projectors. because its portable power. i love it to stargaze around, to do burn experiments with my savety goggles, see it react on materials ect.

I bought it from jetlasers and has alot savety onboard.
I would like to lpm it if possible

Last year it was a no but maybe i have luck this time?(because you also know im not a terrorist)
I do not see the added value of laserpointers at a LEM.

And because laserpointer have the intention to roll off a table it would be better if you leave them at home.

Start blocking your agenda's in the last weeks of november. We will vote for one of those dates after I spoke to the venue owner.

    Here is a concept agenda

10:00 - 11:00 venue opens for a select few people who are willing to help setting up the rigs projections screen on the podium and putting the tables in the room.
11:00 -13:00 venue open for eveyone, and time to pick a table an show your stuff.
13:00 - 13:30, lunch time. Lunch will be included with the enterance fee.
13:30 - 17:30 more tinkering and laser showoff time.

During the day no audiance scanning will be allowed so we will not get bothered by annoing beams hitting your eyes when working on others projectors or talking to each other.

17:30 -19:30 get your equipement rigged out for the lase-off if you did not already do so, and setup your projection zones and BAM's and this whould be an excellent moment to eat dinner across the street or drive to the kfc or MCdonnals ( 5 minutes away)

19:30 - 20:00 we will do some MPE measuerements on the powerfull projectors, to make sure the show is pleasent to watch. I will bring some lenses to increase the divergence of projector with too much power, or when bam zones are not possible.

    20:00 - 21:00 playtime / livepro jamming
21:00 - 00:00 lase off, we will be playing lasershows on as many projectors we can get.
00:00 the end of hopefully another successfull lem

I'm open for any suggestions as this is only a concept agenda.
