    Default 2watt 445 projector

i finally had time to work on my own kit today.

i wanted something simple and stable so knocked together a dual diode 445 build. projector has 20k scanners.

each diode is out putting 1000mw, after combining im getting 1600mw and after the galvo mirrors im getting 1100mw.

so im getting some new galvo mirrors from rob.

Not worth combining with those losses!
    - There is no such word as "can't" -
    - 60% of the time it works every time -

    Hi mr. Con.

Is that black cylindrical thing wedged between those 2 ally blocks in front of the diode on the left a halfwave plate your using ?
What lenses you use and what beam profile you get out of that (a stripe ?)

Hope to learn more, looks good, although losses are high.
Let's see what them DT40 bring you ;-)

    good luck man!
    I didn't fail !
I just found out 10,000 ways that didn't work.
