Song - That is the best advise I have seen as a reply. The laser module in question is in fact made of two lasers with different polarizations (one being vertical | and one horizontal - combined through a polarized beam splitter (PBS) cube to equal a +) if the optics or mirrors before the PBS get out of alignment you could get two dots :. I appreciate you reaching out to learn more about your product, seeking more knowledge should never be seen as a bad thing. Do you mean two red beams? That is usually because the red is using two 640nm diodes combined with a PBS cube which has come out of alignment. Look at this thread for assistance:
