This point alone, is why I buy Laserwave through my local distributor (Rob Stanwax). I've had my share of problems in the past years, and without Rob, and his superb customer service I'd have walked away from lasers a while back.I am not quite sure how much the "warranty" is really worth anything anyway
Sure, I can buy cheaper from other manufacturers from outside the country but I consider that is just because I'm not getting a warranty. One warranty return goes to make up the difference in price (and hassle!)

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?
I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.
Anybody got news from Shawn?
sooo....good service or not sure about their products ?
I got a response from Shawn via email...
He said to send the laser back to china for a fix, I will check but that may be impossible/costlier than a new one for me.
That's what my email FROM A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO said as well " you can send it back to DHOM factory directly, but in this way, you have to be responsible for all way shipping fees.".
Did he offer you a reference number of some kind ?
I received no RMA number, so a it's a bit of a message in an expensive bottle scenario.... and I certainly got no info on the umbilical and its signal characteristics ..... so I still don't know whether it is really necessary to risk the shipping costs and customs hassles.
He did confirm that it was still under warranty! This is meaningless however without a bit more communication to articulate the process.
What I want from Shawn is information! Not an invitation to try sending the thing blind to China and risk that it arrives back and develops the same problem a while later.
The lack of reasonable info is driving me NUTS !
Quite frankly my opinion of DHOM lasers has gone down the drain recently.
Cheers
No RMA here either...
