Well, thanks for sharing your experiences. Indeed we took no risk and used a little HD camera instead of the much more expensive one. And it seems it was not damaged

Indeed, with a lot of haze in the room, and a BAM of 20% at 25 meters from the projectors, it was not dazzling or unpleasant at all when the beams crossed the eyes, so I guess it was even lower than the MPE... so there should been little chances to damage any camera sensor

A good thing would be to define a MPE for the camera's. Who will make the experience until the sensor shows damage signs??

p.s : I will share this video here once I got it

I have a couple of CCD camera's I'm willing to sacrifice in the name science.

But the most difficult part would be writing a proper testing procedure, so If someone comes up with a test procedure I will do the test.

That should in fact be really difficult, as every sensor type or worse, sensor + objective combination should have different threshold damage...

Anyway, this is the video of the second part of my show, at my own wedding, with a girl friend of mine doing a live LED dance show (the first part was the "real" lasershow and will come later, this part has only simple effects to emphasize more the dancer):

Of course, video don't do justice to the show, and next time I should decrease laser power even more (already set to 15% in audience zone) or place the effects only above horizon, as this time the dancer wasn't very visible... This can be due to the amount of haze too... But we had no time to do some tests before the show, and it was the first one
