You're on, where do i send the 3.5 pence if you win? Or should i just pay it direct into your Beyond layaway fund?

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

    Well Rob is right.

You just forgot to include the deflection angle, so we (I) assumed 'like for like' specs.

They are faster because they are running nearly half the scan angle.

interesting stuff there... at least things are starting to become clearer...

I wonder if you buy a QM2k with Beyond can you use your LD2k QM2k with it, and the Beyond QM2k with LD2k? it would almost make more sense to buy a beyond intro system for $1500 and then have 2x QM's than just upgrade the 1 QM

I find it strange that they will continue to maintain LD2k but hey, I'm not complaining

also they say they will continue to update LivePRO... I guess this is a new decision, and I am honestly pretty happy about that... last year I was told LivePRO would receive no further updates

I wonder whatever happened to QS2 for the QM2k...?

I took it that that is actually what BEYOND is from reading the FAQ... but I have been wrong before...

no no, QS2 is based on the Beyond engine but is like a "lite" version... I remember someone mentioning that there would be a QM compatible version of QS2 at some point... maybe that idea got shelved

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like the FB3-QS upgrade options aren't on the PangolinBeyond site (anymore).

The current 50% upgrade offering shows only for LD2000 owners. This certainly appears to better protect existing owners' QM hardware investment over the otherwise sudden devaluing that would occur (as I described previously).
