No that's distribution.
Launch of a product range can also be showing the product announcing it as an official product etc.
Also some people have it, but being negative about a product won't help you get it earlier.
Some of us already have it now, and Pangolin is giving the full product for just the essentials price since they haven't determined features yet.

Well that could be yes but you get what you pay for, else it wouldn't be fair to the people that pay more ey?
But it's best to take advantage of it when you can.
The choice is up to you, not forcing it to you or anything.

If you really don't like it just don't buy it, seriously flecom it's not ment offensive or anything but if you think quickshow has anything for you then why hesitate to bother... or is there a reason?

1 thing, you can put that QM to good use now as you can use it in combination with your FB3's use the QM for your main graphics as the QM has more color depth.

Well at the moment you will!
I can't guarantee if the features stay, even pangolin can't answer you that.
But at the moment you get it all!!!... so why wait and not take advantage of that? I think it will take quite some time before pangolin figures out what will be in each version.

None of my opinion should be taken as complaint, just an objective opinion from someone with a stake in this.

This is an expectation issue. Prior to "launch", the expectation created by the material beng circulated strongly suggested product availability at that stage. This is not a criticism or compaint, this is an observation. As someone actively involved in software delivery, managing release expectations is important.

...being negative about a product won't help you get it earlier.

Expressing my opinion is not motivated by trying to accelerate delivery, rather the information that is needed to support a purchasing decision.

Is this a Pangolin endorsed statement? If not, you are making promises on their behalf and any future crippling of capability to an already delivered product is likely to be legally questionable.

Which is why you have a unique perspective that we/I do not. Perhaps you could help us by putting together a list of features, over and above those delivered by LD2000 and those delivered by QS.

same with my comments... I don't think Beyond is a bad thing, quite the contrary... I've been blown away with the things I have managed to do with QS2 (Beyond Engine) so having a more open-ended version seems great...

And I don't think anyone has a list of features, seems like Pangolin is scrambling to figure that out themselves lol
