I do not know. His complete lack of communication would make it hard to take orders as well. I have heard that he is in school @ some level and this may be a busy time. I have been told that he is a decent person, but distract-able. He has been a member for three years and so I suspect he has not simply vaporized. But, this lack of sources for laser drivers is ridiculous. It is not the responsibility of any particular individual to fill this need, yet without drivers the construction and maintenance of laser projectors becomes nearly impossible. Forget about discussions of new diodes and optics or even scanners. Who cares if you can't use them.

There was this controversy regarding the new driver being developed by forum members vs the Flex Mod P3 vs the Quad Drive. Juicy, but, one doesn't exist, one is waiting for a group buy to be produced and the manufacturer of the third is AWOL.

Hello everyone, finally back.

I had a major harddrive meltdown, right in the middle of documenting my exam project - a full month of work gone :-(

Everything was gone, including cad-files, sales records and addresses :-(

Finally got my computer back, and luckily they have been able to restore most of my critical data.

Time to order that NAS and set up automatic backups!

All pending orders will be shipping out over the next couple of days.

I don't know if you received any of my PM's and even my direct email. I REALLY need the modified quad drive for my big green. I have already missed the scheduled debut of this laser because of the missing drive. As I asked in these messages "can you prepare two of these quad drives"? Based on the horrible shipping problems it would be good to have a back up in case there is a future problem. Please PM me about the charge for this third as yet unpaid for quad drive and the shipping cost if you went to a more reliable route such as DHL or high priority.

arent computers and phones with internet access everywhere these days? but you couldnt log onto your emails or the forum cos your hard drive died!

lucky in on this forum as ive not had any emails from you explaining why my order of 100 of pounds hasnt been delivered.
