The 637nm diodes are isolated from case.

Edison is referring to a build with blue diodes. For reds it would make more sense to run it at 5V. 5V - 2Vf = 3V x 300mA = 0.9W in the FETs.

I am currently waiting for the PCBs to be delivered. They arrived here in Denmark last week, but the package still haven't cleared customs

Pretty frustrating, since I have had everything else ready for over a week.

Hope to get them before the weekend - but it is out of my hands for now.

Yeah, drop him a PM, I received a prototype a while back and am currently in process of connecting it to one of Edisonīs quad setups.

    Looks very good to me

    Cheers

    UPDATE:

I have contacted the customs authorities to figure out why the PCBs are still stuck.

Turns out the manufacturer claimed a waay to low value on the package.

They told me to send an invoice, which I have done today.

Now they have to process it, this can take up to 5 working days.

I find it strange they didn't contact me about this a week ago - Doesn't seem right that I have to call them to make things happen

So - it's still out of my hands, but at least I know what is going on now.
