The Spitz STP nightclub star projector is featured in the Vitra Design Museum exhibition "Night Fever "that will explore the design and cultural history of night clubs and discos from the 1960s to the present. The exhibition is being co-curated with Catharine Rossi from Kingston University in London and Nina Serulus from the Design Museum Brussels and will be presented at the Vitra Design Museum in Germany from March 17 until September 9, 2018 and at the Design Museum Brussels from November 2018 until May 2019. Thereafter the exhibition is scheduled to travel internationally including a stop over in London. A comprehensive exhibition catalogue has been published in English and German editions. The STP is on the front cover of the 400-page exhibit catalog, shown illuminated by a copper vapor laser. Rights for this image were also granted to a large clothing and fashion retailer in Switzerland, for promotional purposes. The New York Times recently did an a related article about it.

I found this forum very interesting: http://www.observatorycentral.com/index.php?showforum=6
They have a for sale-section as well as threads with many homebuilt systems!

How much do a smaller system (maybe even portable?) go for?
The old Observatory Central went under for various reasons. I managed to save much of the planetarium section and have been slowly rebuilding it post by post and can now be found at https://planetariumsasahobby.freeforums.net/ Please come and join as we can use all the members we can get.
