    Hey Andy

    Provided the Moncha DAC is in working order just stick it in the car. We can work out the finer details later. Oh, and i'm assuming we need some software as well?

    Cheers

    Jeremy did discuss with me the possibility of coming along to the ShowLEM many months ago. But when I saw the expectation on the forum was for me to deliver the full safety course for ~£25, I realised that mixing any sort of business with the spirit of a LEM would not work, and so declined.

    Instead I would have considered coming along and running a quick session on safety, but since declining to run a full course, things all went quiet.

    Jeremy has this weekend invited me along as guest, and if I come, I could always run an impromptu type session, if there was interest. I have one or two new gadgets I could bring and show also. The problem however is that work commitments next week are looking quite hectic, so it looks unlikely that I could make either day at the moment. But I’ll keep it in mind if things change. And maybe, instead plan to come to a future one.

    Hi Andy

    I've got both the Moncha files and the music files from Gabe, so we're good to go

    @James... Sent you a PM

    Cheers

    I guess I'm probably in part responsible for that. I realise it's your living James and so you have to charge professionals a sizeable fee that reflects your worth.

    I was however hoping that maybe some way could be found to provide a course to pure, (ie not for remuneration), hobbyists for a much smaller fee to reflect the fact that those of use for whom this is a PURE hobby (ie those who NEVER undertake paid for work), are often cash strapped and not receiving any remuneration for anything we do as its only ever for our own personal fun. I was hoping separating the hobbyists from the professionals would make it possible to deliver such a course given that you wouldn't be giving away your services to an audience whom would otherwise purchase them from you but rather to a section of laserists who in the main, don't usually take safety courses. Maybe I was just expecting a little too much when I suggested that.

    If you think your car can handle the extra weight you may as well bring the FB3

    It would be great James if you could make it as a guest to the Show LEM. I think all, if not most of the attendees would be just glad to meet you in person, I know I would. And if you do decide to give an impromptu type session on safety then that's a great bonus that I think everyone at the meet will be interested in and appreciate.

    My laser harp will be there as well for people to have a play with so if J M Jarre did not let you have a play with his now's your chance.
