    Default RGB Laser group buy

This is in reference to what was previously discused on
    http://www.photonlexicon.com/forums/...hp?p=3828#3828

depending on quanity, $1400 to $1600 including shipping or less. This is assuming not more than 4 or 5 are bought.

    Pros:
    -Analog Blanking
    -Galvos not stepper motors
    -Good airflow with filtered fans
    -Color balanced extremely well
    -Compact design
    -Key switch with 2 keys
    -400mw after IR filters installed

    Cons:
-No IR filter on green or blue (over a watt of IR and visual wavelength combined)
-Cheaper dicros with estimated 5% loss per beam
-Dicro mounts need slight adjustment on arrival after shipping
-When pushed to around 20k the red blanking cant keep up, not a huge difference but noticable to the trained eye
    -No shutter
-8 wire RJ45 plug on back requiring adaptor cable (i can make for a small fee or i will give scematics)

Pictures of unit are below. I will need some hosting to put videos out Keep in mind that the camera i make video with has a refresh rate that does not do well with lasers graphics so you will see flicker but you should be able to fill in the holes. The beam show videos are amaizing to say the least. I even brought out the big hazer for those videos.

what the hell is going on with your carpet! it's horrible.

Can you take another pic of the rgb with the lid off, and the lasers going ... its a bit blurry... form your pic the blue looks like its got a massive beam....not sure if its just a little blurred or not though!

The Dicros adjust fairly easily. There are 3 set screws on the top of each dicro mount and it takes a matter of seconds to adjust them after shipping. I dont know if its bad shipping handleing or the workers just not caring. I know after I have set them I have not needed to redo the adjustments

I will later, I am at work for a long while today, prolly gonna be a 18 hour day. The beam is not thick, thats just movement blur i am sure. It was an older picture I took when I wasnt trying to impress anyone but myself.

What codec did you use for the last 4 videos on the list? I only get sound - no video. (Granted, I'm at work, which means I'm stuck using the default MS Windows Media Player - V9, but still...)

That makes sense... Yeah, we can't install extra codecs on the machines at work. They've got the desktops locked down pretty tight.

No matter though. I just got home and downloaded them to my machine here. They look great! Especially since those are only 15K galvos!

I'm really surprised that the color balance is so good... I would have thought you would need more blue, but they sure look great!

I gotta start saving my money.... I want one of these things!
