    Yeah sorry lost track of the thread.

    If its reproduce able, all I can suggest is look to see if Live Pro has an intensive logging option.

    Befor I bought Pangolin, I asked to go USB connections and was warned against it, by pangolin, that a QM2K card for a desk top was the best way to go! Well I did not want to travel with a desk top since I had all ready spent $4K on a panasonic toughbook 30 for road shows. So I ended up buying the QM2K.net box Cat 5e conected, and have had little to no problems and for the few that did pop up Pangolin was on it right away and they did'nt leave me hanging and dangeling, problems solved right away.
    I do how ever have a issue going on right now, Some time ago I upgraded from INTRO to PRO on the LD2K program, A couple of days ago, I down loaded an update program off pangolins web site for the LD2K and lost my PRO upgrade back to INTRO, and now, related to other laptop issues "not Pangolin" I am having problems getting the problem rectifide.
    Who ever invented "DRIVER SMITH" $#%%$@$##$##!!!!! %$##%$%$! some web program that anylizes your computer for drivers and registery errors, that some how keeps wanting to install its self every time I want to down load somthing from pangolin, I don't know were it came from and I can't seem to stop it yet.

    @Beamann

    Download a program called Malwarebytes, preferably from CNet download website. Run the scan. This will pick up loads of crap which you can then quarantine and delete.

    ya it is strange... I have been using that laptop with my FB3 for all my stuff and have never had an issue... I chalk it up to the ghost in the machine lol

    sometimes random shit does happen... they are computers... you can blame M$ or Pangolin or whoever, but theres an infinite number of hardware/software/driver combinations.. and sometimes things just don't go to plan

    Frank, I could not agree more.

    With the infinite number of combinations between hardware and software, it is amazing that things are as stable as they have proven to be.

    That being said, I also understand the frustration in being impacted by an issue that chooses to rear its ugly head when you least need, or have time to deal with it.

    ya, honestly I have had very very few problems with LD/QS2 so I can't complain about stability... LD had some issues with DMX not working randomly but QS seems to be pretty stable short of some known issues...

    thing is it seems every time the pressure is on is when the computer decides to get a mind of its own... its almost like it knows lol

    At least when you update manually you can see the frequent cockups.Click image for larger version.

    As for the computer itself well ... unlikely I would think since you say everything else seems to work OK. Click image for larger version.
