I have a FB3-Qs and FB3-SE in front of me. QS shows a slider limit of 30k on both units. BEYOND scan rate only goes to 30K on the FB3-SE but will go to 120k with the FB3-QS. There are only 3 color channel settings on both FB3s in BEYOND or QS.

It looks to me that the only way to go beyond 30k is to go BEYOND.

If you choose to ignore the existence of LP, then yes

You are using Bonetti's defense against me, ah?

I thought it fitting, considering the rocky terrain.

I asked Bill about using the FB3-SE (which I have in addition to my QM.NET) with Beyond during his SELEM presentation.

He did say that the FB3-SE would be limited to a 30K scan rate, but left the impression that the later models of the FB3 did not have that limitation.

Other than the scan rate difference particular to the FB3-SE, he said there would be no difference in software-to-laser capabilities when using Beyond with the FB3 and QM2000 boards..

Is there anyway to get LivePro that is "registered" to a QM2000 to see an FB3?

    Don't think so -

I've got both versions, and while they'll share some of the workspaces, AFAIK the different versions of LivePRO only work with the specific board type they were written for...

Agreed. This is what I experience with both versions of LivePRO, the QM and FB3s. LivePRO for FB3 will run all my FB3s and will not run the QM. LivePRO for QM will not run the FB3s.

I believe Beyond is the first software that runs both DAC types in a single application.

There's another solution, and that is to have an abundance mentality.

LjMrBubi, please read "The 7 habits of highly effective people". I am sure it is available in your native language. Once you've read the book, contact me and we'll see what we can do for you...

    Best regards,
