motionloops does not have US legal projectors as far as I know. Most of their product is Laserworld, or as you say, imported Chinese.

What was wrong with the X-laser units? If there is a problem we would love to have the opportunity to fix it, if he just wants different specs we can sure do that too.

The 1W RGb uses 15K scanners stock because it is not intended for graphics... the X-beams are aerial beamers and the slower scan rate results in a brighter beam which is what the fixture is designed for. However, we custom build stuff all the time and are always happy to help.

ya not sure, for beam shows 15k is fine anyway... only issue for me would be TTL... besides that pretty sure X-Laser is going to be *the* least expensive option for a US legal projector that I am aware of...

Analog units are right around the corner by popular demand. We have a prototype sitting on the bench as we speak and it looks pretty great. Not as great as Frank's art piece by any stretch, but great for our price point. =)

I have had a few clients buy X-Laser stuff and have me set it up, its good stuff, does the job well, and is legal (what a concept!) and like I said, at the price point theres really no competition
