Can someone make me this?
I've been trying all day, but i can't get it right. tried for hours, i'm a crappy 3D modeler.
Can someone out there please make this for me? It has to be a 3D object. For use in
3DS Max, and later as laserframe ofc.
/pray
thanks.
Below is the file (i know it's small, but thats all i got)

Hmn I can help you, but in advance for learning purposes I will tell you how to do this.
Ok open this image in 3ds max on a plane (make sure it's visible by clicking the texture and doing show hardware map.
That allows you to see the image on the plane in the viewport.
Once you done that you will trace it by hand with the line tool in 3ds max.
When your done and the object is a closed spline, you convert it to a polygon, clone the object and downscale the object and scale it up in the Y-axis and make the outer a boolean and extract the middle one. (subtraction)
This will make what you want. but it's easy for me I will do it but do keep this in mind.
Does it need to rotate or move btw?

Thanks MasterPJ for the advice, yeah i want it to rotate and stuff.

Which axis?
horizontal i guess?
Want to be able to loop it?

What 3ds max do you have?
2005? 2006? 2007? 2008? 2009? 2010? 2011?
