Here in Yorkshire we had a great view..... Of some clouds

Sadly the weather conditions just weren't favourable and there was thick cloud cover and rain. Wish I could have seen it though

The Aurora is damn unreliable though, I was in Northern Finland in January last year and my Aurora predicter (iPhone app) forcast a high alert for aurora activity. So, we went out into the middle of nowhere at -35 degrees and saw absolutely nothing, well, apart from some lovely stars.

I bet Nige has seen it in Scotland.

We looked but just like Jem nothing but clouds and the orange city glow.

I bet anyone a kitkat chunky they will be as far south as Surfleet circa 3rd-4th of Feb.
It did make me laugh when some of the locals thought CuBr and scopes were "the northern lights".
