well my plan is already posted i didn't want to keep secrets for others to enjoy the nice beams.
I might but i would rather finish up my setup and try my chances at winning the 1,000$ prize.

Looks like you need a better driver for your red with standing beam suppression... Or a shutter is probably a better, safer option

Okay so today or tomorrow i should have some better pics and results with measurements.
I got my root canal done so i can finally go out in the cold without being in large amounts of pain.
Cant wait till the first, got a few lens quotes that are waiting to get back to us.
Im going to have a GB thread for several proposed items to be made.
From heatsinks to adjustable mounts and lenses.
I have gotten alot of pms and phone calls about my setup and what the cost is so i think its safe to say people want them.

yeah im going to build a few dual setups for a few members. but im not sure i want to open up shop.
Much rather run a GB and get the prices low so everyone can have fun with the lasers even if they have a small budget.

kiyoukan, I'm interested to understand some things about your design of knifing inside the focus point.. does that actually get the beams closer?
I mean, after the final objective are the beam/gap ratios not proportionally the same as inside the focus point?
And with the such a small spot on the mirror, one spec of dust.. could that cause an issue?
A little bit werrrr, a little bit weyyyyyy, a little bit arrrrgggghhh

    yes much closer.
It takes some time to setup to make sure every thing is perfect.
You can chose where to knife edge you could go for a larger part to lessen the dust problem.
yes dust is the enemy of this setup.
That why its going to be covered in an enclosure.
More details and pics to come this week or next now that i can work.
