Dave im sorry if it comes off as im after you and believe me im not.
If you would like to carry the correction optics i would much rather go that route than me doing GB's
I hate them and they are alot of work.
But seeing as people are paying crazy money for edmund optics to correct the diodes and it is keeping alot of people away from these great lasers.
So we need to help them out a bit.

Alot of people just want to buy a full setup with all the lenses need to correct their diode.
So i started looking for them.

one more question is it hard to tell which way around the lens go, i could not tell with the 2.9mm lens, so have no idea if they are in back to front or not

yes you can tell from how it sits, if you have bad eyes you may need a mag visor but also how they move when in the optic tray will make it easy to see.

The other 2.9mm lens i have been using with hex 63133 modules. The 2mm lens I have been selling gives the best performance with the g71.

To save money I have been cutting the EO lenses in thirds. Its not hard. I made a jig for my dremel to do it. Anyone cares I can post a pic of the set-up.

These have a definite front and back( the 2.9's didn't ) I can glue the lenses in for you if you prefer Chris :-)

No, but great minds think alike

I wanted to make some kits for these back a few months ago and at $108 for the lenses it just wasn't affordable. So, I tried making a jig for my mill and cutting it dry.... major fail! generated too much heat.

Now I do it with water flowing over the blade of my dremel. Works great.
