    tec cooled to 19deg c , well here's the pics you all want , i am just glad the projector is bangin out >3w

    With the greater mag telescope it does ok with graphics. Actually, the divergence is half the green and half the 445 with o-like collimator. Where did you get the waveplate?

    @ Badger; Your dual red is doing 1W after the PBS? You're using G71s right? Daves lenses.. oh, and what current? ..told ya i'd have questions ;]

    got the waveplate from daves gb a while back, give him a shout he may have 1 or 2 left
    what lens are you using ? i could not geta usable beam with the first cyl lens that close to the collimator.

    Default Finally some progress !!

    Test set up;

    LSP (Dave) Short FL Collimation Lens @ 2.9 fL
    Distance between Cylinderical lenses and Collimation Lens @ 60mm
    LD @ ML520G71

    Divergence without correction: 9.58 mrad

    Near field expanded (corrected) slow axis width, cyls 60mm from collimator: 4.25 mm x 4.25mm

    Far field corrected slow axis width 13.72 meters away @ 20mm x 10mm....or 1.14mrad

    I am convinced the LSP Colli lens delivers better results than the 405 G 2

    yes 1w after the pbs, yes g71's, and daves lenses, current 650ma each , thought i said 1w it was aprox, going by previous tests
    so i just checked out of the front of the projector it was just under 1w (.994) so i cranked them up a bit to 700ma each , see pic

    I only picked up a 660 in the group buy. I forgot 640's were also in the GB. Maybe he has some left? I am not using the lava telescope lenses. So, I can put the first lens close to the collimator. The build is using the 405-g-2 lens. The 405-g-2 lens works well in this set-up.
