The big ones are the (approx 50mm?) Kayoucan GB lensesThese are the lenses I was talking about and the 50mm I mention is the approx FLThe convex lens is about 30mm square on all 4 sides .. I don't know the FL right off-hand..
Yep that's them :]
First lens/objective Lens "plano-concave" -9.7 EFL 20mm Tall 10mm Wide
Second Lens/Image Lens "plano-convex" 60mm EFL 32mm Tall 30mm Wide
Made from BK7 optical Glass
AR coated for 350-700nm

Sadly not, its just the info that Kiyoukan gave when the lenses were put on the GB, but it does give some valuable information yo put into Google.
You guys should make a dictionary of your Abbreviations Hehe
I have gotten a hold on the most of them but i am still confused with "2mmFL" lens what is the FL
Also i was confused with LD and so on but i guess that it means laser diode or device
What i mean is there a place were i can find something like this
GB = group buy
LD = laser diode
And so on i would realy like to get totaly up to date with your findings so i dont go reinventing the wheel and bother you with stupid ideers![]()

Welcome to PL Simon.
Unfortunately there is no abbreviation or acronym section here. Terms such as FL (focal length) are commonly used in optics, and the rest are used in different fields/ circles. You've chosen a difficult hobby as you need to be at least semi-familiar with lasers, optics, electronics, and sometimes physics and even math.
Good luck and welcome !![]()
heh thanks i have been following your posts a long time and i am allredy famillar with most of the ways to combine diodes and pumping pbs and so on i have build some 7 - 8 w 445 nm quards without correction but with pbs waveplate (of course ) o- like lenses and knifed 2 and 2 and the next protject is quard 445 nm and 635 nm with correction
I know i am not you guys but i am learning! And thanks for that!
Oh, ok.. mybad! Cheers
You know what you're doing. Be careful and remember to wear your laser safety goggles..
That is all..

Question for you - what does "quard" mean ?
