Don't quit, just ignore the ones not worthy of using it.

I finally got around to reformatting my lap top and am ready to reactivate Spaghetti like we discussed about two weeks ago. With, "not offering
suport" I hope you're still willing to do that! I'll shoot you a PM.

    Gary,

I understand where you are coming from. Perhaps, it will free you up to do something else. Sometimes closing one door is a good way to find another door open. I wish you all the best and will be in touch.

    Cheers, Ian

Bummer. I haven't done much with spaghetti since I got it but it's worked well in my limited experience. I still can't wait to see it running some cool shows once I get my projector built.

I'll leave Spaghetti available for download and keep my forum operational at least until my domain expires. It's been an interesting jouney but I am excited about my retirement.

I will not be releasing the source code for it because there is a lot of IP that I wish to retain.

Uhhh... What were you doing on LPF anyway?

After some thought, I have decided not to completely abandon Spaghetti but things will be different. I'm sure that I may have lost some customers from my quick decision to abandon it but that's life. For those remaining and/or future customers I will immediately address the first two nagging issues:

    (0) Price will immediately be dropped to $89.

    (1) Sound card DACs - I will not offer any type of support and no one will receive sympathy from me if they can't get theirs configured properly. However, I will be creating and releasing a FREE sound card DAC utility that will allow tuning and testing with a hard coded test pattern so that noobs can stop blaming Spaghetti when they don't properly configure their soundcard.

    (2) I will start charging a small fee for creating replacement license files. The first will be free for the same computer. Subsequent licenses will be something like $5. Transfering to a different computer or to a different person might be a larger fee. This is not set in stone, yet. However, this will be temporary since I will immediately switch to a dongle.

I welcome comments, suggestions, complaints, etc.

I'm glad to hear this. Your work has been invaluable to many here and I'm sure most will support you.
