Please tell me how you did it or what do I need to do in future to sort out the .ild files made by this package ?

I just got lucky.

I loaded your .ild file into LD2000, converted it to vector oriented, tidied it up a bit and then saved the file as a new .ild

Dunno what you'd need to do for future files.
Well, you could go down the Pango route.

Or there's always helpful chappies here on PL.

Just for future reference, looks like format 0 with 64 color table.
