Default Code to generate digital images similar to laser lumia imagery

    Hi All,

I've been playing around with generating high res digital cycloid (spirograph) images (16 megapixel). I haven't sat down and attempted Lumia yet, and wondered if there's anyone out there who has done this already?

I suggest you check out a raytracer called POVRay and its effect called "caustics". You can project light through a formula-controlled surface and get very realistic looking light effects.

Thanks, I hadn't considered POVRay, but I want to maintain the interference fringing that comes with lasers.
