I have been palnning to make thes panels for over a year but decided it was about timeWhile getting the ends cut for the ILDA to CAT5 adptors I took the oportunity. Its great seeing a 3Kw CO2 laser in action - even better when the parts its cutting are for yourself from your own drawings

That ILDA - CAT5 adaptor is quite an ingenious idea.

That's good to hear.
I will just keep checking for when they are back in stock.
Thanks Rob!
On sale from Monday the Stanwax Laser DS3 range of products are a 5 in 1 Axis flip and level control device for your laser projector. The DS3 - Differential Solis State Switch uses Digital Axis Flip Technology to reverse the polarity of your X and Y output on your projector - Ideal for when you are using multiple projectors off one laser controller. The axis flip is implemented by pressing one of two buttons that are fitted to the board (or remotely connected depending on the version). Holding either of the buttons in for a period of 3 seconds or more will swap X and Y allowing, if needed a projector to be mounted at 90 degrees. A side effect of this is that when you wire the projector up you dont have to care about which scanner you connect to which ILDA channel as you can swap them round the first time the board is used!
The last thing you want is to set one axis to be flipped and then the power to the projector is lost while its up on a truss and out of reach - so every time a button is used the DS3 writes the settings to on board flash memory which it reads on power up to set the output as per the last selection ensuring that the projector will always remain as you needed.
There are 5 products in the family (though some of the options would increase this number!)
DS3FCB - Full board with axis flip and RGB level pots* for panel mounting
DS3FAC - Full board with axis flip and X/Y level pots* for panel mounting
DS3AF - axis flip board only for internal mounting and rear panel mounted push buttons
DS3CB - Pot board only with RGB level pots
DS3AC - Pot board only with X/Y level pots
* these 2 versions can be supplied without the push buttons fitted so you can use your own push buttons and mount them where you wish

DS3FCB is designed to be used with the mounting panel as shown above (as pictured), plus the mounting panel with the axis flip button holes is ideal for the DS3AF when its internally mounted.
Prices will be announced on Monday when the products go live on the webshop.
One last note - MATIlda is on the bubble - I have panels now which will be anodised early next week so expect an announcement by the end of the week.

PS Special thanks to Adrian Thake for sanity checking me.

I just thought you might like to know the dimensions of the board - DS3FCB/FAC - 63x58 mm not inc pot spindles and buttons and the DS3AF is 63x30mm.
power is +/-24V (from scanner supply) and it will draw aprox 30mA from each line.

So if i understand it correctly can i buy a full option board so that i can set the color balance and after that use the same first 2 pots for x and y scanner size?
Johan
Im not sure how you come to that conclusion - the list of models shows that the full board is avaialbe in 2 formats one with RGB pots or one with XY pots. If you want XY scale as well as RGB levels the best way it to use The full board DS3FCB and use an additional DS3AC with the 2 extra pots you need for XY scale. Depending on your preference the XY scale pots can be wired in before or after the axis flip circuitry. Wiring details and specs will be included in the manual which I am writing as we speak. Also connector kits will be available with these products as is already the csase for ILDA board and Colourboard.
