Admin access implies read/write access which suggests access that people can use once again to fuck the server over and destroy everything.
Should admin access be given so freely when read access alone will suffice?
Sorry for being yet another nay sayer here but human nature dictates that if something is given freely then it will be abused.
I did a search for free ILDA files on FTP sites and our beloved FTP site is mentioned on several sites (other than this one) so people see it as a free resource to which they don't have to contribute which is why so many freeloading scumbags are lining up to pillage and rape it with no intention (and I await to be shown examples to the contrary) of ever adding anything to the collective collection.
Mebbe DSLI's suggestion to make this a Paid for environment is beginnng to make more sense .......
I'm telling ya peeps, if access continues to be given to every Tom,Dick and Ivan then it's only a matter of time before it disappears forever.

Thanks Jem, I just wanted to upload some laser driver info I've put together (tec, diode current, bias pots etc), but I'm just about to do my weekly radio set, then it's off t'airport and getting horizontal between two palm trees time, so I'll sort it when I'm back.
