    Welcome,
Resolving your problem will be easier if you can provide additional details such as; have you contacted LaserWorld in the past, dose the unit perform as it did before, except that the red is less bright? And, do you have any photographs of the unit that you can post? Take your time.

Hello, i had similar problem with Kvant Spectrum, i got my red diode replaced for new. However with Laserworld i don't know about their service support. Try to contact them, if it's 1 year from buy it should be in warranty. Good luck!

    Andrea,

Now you've taken the lid off, could you post pictures of the laser modules (Especially the Red one) and also the line up of the modules...

It could be that the red has shifted and is now out of alignment with the Galvos, though this looks slightly unlikely from the photos you have already posted...

This will help the more experienced people on here to help you out.
If in doubt... Give it a clout?

Most likely red barrel diode is... dead.
It is happened to me also, years ago.... In that time I had a CS-800RGY from Laserworld. A super -mega-ultra crap projector! Low quality red barrel diodes inside... Bleah!
Those red 650nm barrel diodes are a real crap.... after 10-15 hours on work they die. Warranty exipred after only 3 months, so now you are f***ed...

If you relly want to replace it and your location is in Europe, then take a look at *Stanwax* site:

    Really sorry for you.
    Good luck.

A series of pictures of the internals of this projector and several of the laser modules would help a lot to clarify the problem. I am not sure how expensive the projector was, but if all that is required was the replacement of the red diode/mount/lens then I would be surprised if this would cost more than $60 US. You might be able to do this yourself. These things are surprisingly simple assembles of a few special components.
