    I can't wait to get my hands on a direct green diode. I don't care what power output is right now. My custom Aurora C6 collection needs green. I already have 405, 445 and 660nm handhelds using the Aurora C6.

    So it looks like I'm getting diodes here next week. Wavelengths are shifting upwards as yields are better, but wavelengths of < 515nm may become obsolete.

    So what does that mean, that you are getting longer wavelengths than 510nm? Prices, specs?

    I might be in for 2-3 depending on cost. I don't care if they are above or below 515.

    At what power?

    I see in the Pico projector weren't they talking about 15-25 lumens? That's about 40mw by my calculations.

    Well Will,

    How much are they? Are they available? I don't want a 'module' I am fully capable of designing and machining a 'module'. Where is the spec sheet?

    @chad
    This is not a matter of your design skills or capabilities. I know you do CNC work. This is not a commodity device. These are engineering samples that are not in production- still, and demand exceeding supply. I have offered parts here due to demand. I have companies waiting to get their hands on direct green parts. Without having customers sign reverse engineering paperwork and NDA's, I have agreed that our documents will stand with the manufacturer, and no one need fill out any paperwork if we sell the diodes with a value added feature. It's a legal thing. If you want a bare diode, I'm sorry but you will have to wait for production. If you have a machined part I can use for a value added feature, we will be glad to insert a diode into it at no charge. Maybe we can even work together on some opportunities we have here for new housing designs.
    As for price, please see my post #12 in response to your posting at #11. We have (only) been waiting 3+ months to re- stock!

    Will an Aixiz diode mount work for a value added feature?
