You might have been remembering something I was saying about these tubes in an Ar-only config - then, they can do ~8-9W, even... But, WL, yeah, not so much... 3.5-4.5W, depending on the Kr-balance, is more typical - However, this pup was doing just around 6W (..so, yeah, perhaps 5.8W was a real-measurement I took / mentioned...) but that was before the 'goose' on the fill with the first-two ampoules, there... but - like ya said - no matter.. what matters is that she's kickin photon-tail and takin names....and that yer her proud Papa...

..I just post the 'correction' so someone else would not 'jump' on yer post and accuse you of spouting wild-claims, or something... you know how drama likes to rear it's ugly head around here...

..anyhoo, looking forward to your many 'IOC-member Chronicles'...

Sounds good Jon! =) we never really put a power meter in front of it anyway. Drama, whats that?

Tomorrow, with Piccasos blessing, I will pack it and the Newport board to his place & plug it in & run it & do some more experimenting with it and *maybe* mount it to the table and start really building the long dreamed of table! =)

The laser really works great. =)
I spent pretty much the entire night with it hooked to a projector at Picassos place making it do what it does best.
