So 35k @20 degrees? 2815 should display the ILDA pattern at 40k @20°, and even 80k @5°. Damn I thought I will have fast scanners with my EyeMagic EMS7000 and their 60k... At least I will have unbreakable scanners under any circumstance

Thanks very much for the input and questions. AixiZ has never sold scansets before and I am new to them as well.
This is in part the reason that AixiZ is taking the bulk of the risk with the money back promise.

AixiZ is now working on the prices and making sure they are assembled and tuned properly before being shipped.

I will do my very best to make everyone happy and answer all questions.

It will help if feedback is given to me about the most popular models can be ordered. I think AixiZ just wants to get the two most wanted for starters. I am assuming that the fastest would be one choice. TM 2815 , but I do not know what the other choice should be. Also the same basic question about mirror size choice. It we know which you want we will order that size for you.
Buffo has offered his services for giving these a good testing. Thanks Adam for that.

Hope to have more info today.

These^^^ links did not work for me. Nor was I able to find any link to Sonima or any Sonima seller at the present time.

EDIT UPDATE--these links work fine now--thanks for them--hak

UPDATE--CNI sells them-- thanks to the one who pointed that out..they are asking $480 for the 2815
PERHAPS AixiZ has found the source that CNI (Sonima) was using. I would hope Sonima have made SOME improvements in the last two years.
If not, any wanting to return for full refund (or replacement) will be covered and AixiZ will find a better source of better scansets.

well the only thing i can see that puts me off is the 30deg optical limit on these ,compared to the 60deg on dt40's.

yeah i know you aint going to be scanning that big, but i do use the full 60deg on dt's .
i just still keep scan at 20deg but use zone to swing that 20deg through the full range of 60deg on the dt's
great for scanning over big areas.
hak could you confirm that these scan sets have that 30deg optical limit ? i was just going by the cni pdf

The links work fine. http://www.sonima.com.cn, They also ship direct, if you post the pricing I can compare them with the direct prices.

I doubt they improved as the drivers are still the 4.3 drivers.

what will be the warranty on these galvo's, and what are the warranty conditions? will you be able to a new set if a galvo dies after 6 months?

Rob Stanwax offers 2 years on the DT40's

    I'm pretty sure it's +30° to -30° for a total of 60°

I will do my best to find the answers.
If I had the prices they would be posted. AixiZ tells me they are still working out the details for the first order.
I do know that AixiZ wants to provide a decent quality scansets at a price affordable for those just starting out.
I pushed hard for AixiZ to go with Dragon Tiger but agreement on the DTs prices could not be done.

Buffo has offered to do some tests.
One of the things I liked about DTs was the two year warranty.
If I understand AixiZ correctly they are offering refund or replace for any valid reason for one year.

I know the link is not yours, McC so please dont take this personally.... I just tried again and I keep getting this.
Maybe it comes up like that because of my Dial-up ISP.

    IDK.. how do I try?

Did AiziZ(tm) talk to PT scanner mfg? aka Omar here on the forums....
AixiZ afaik did not, as I believed that DT and Scanpro in the opinion of many were better and had gotten better reviews..so PT was ruled out as an option.
I have had contact w/Omar before.
