Default Somethings wrong, tracing down the problem

    Heya Guys.
I have another projector, but wanted to try my 1st projector again (which has been doing it fine not that many days ago).

So i hooked it up today (have not been throwing with it or something and have not dropped it.
Despite that The max angle was completely wrong this time (only on that projector)
    As can be seen here:

The image they scan is not deformed as you can see.
And I'm not sure if scanners can really get out of scale all of a sudden.

Tried different ilda cables (also very short ones)
    and no difference really.
Secondly my dual red module is very faint.

I dont know what the happened, as i've not been using it in a strange way.

I know you guys dont like these kind of topics too much, but it's a good way for me to learn, I didn't wanted to start turning pots on the LW50k amps and make a mess so I made the post instead for people to share their knowledge or advice .

I hope to fix as much as possible as this is kinda like my extra projector.

    Thanks guys!

    Best regards,

    Pieter

Looks like you have a missing X-axis signal. Have you checked contacts on the DB25 connector of your DAC?

No it's not missing as then it would be a line only.
Secondly I hooked it up to my kvant with that same dac and cable and no problems.

Still looks to me like its missing half its axis signal - it wouldn't be a line PJ as it's differential. It would just look smaller like it does i.e single ended. Check the wiring from the db25 through to your galvos in your projector for one line being open or shorted to ground.....

Good idea! and yes i think it's missing half the signal, there must be some bad connection or something that has the signal for the X lose like half of it's current, ok just a moment i'll report findings.

Yes the X signal is somehow the half if what it should be (i swapped the com ports of the galvo 's)

Maybe the signal loss is also happening for red.

Both Green and Blue are working like a charm.

So what could cause a signal loss in the wiring? I mean I haven't changed the cables in any way.
