Hehe. My phone pics up breathing like I am a rabid sex offender. Some of the noise is actually the smoke machine.

Excited? More relieved to be done! From planning, sourcing parts to completion is not all straight forward, even for simple projectors like these...

Pool table? I suffer horizontal surface syndrome (lack of) so the pool table always comes in handy with it's cover fitted!

Hi Bart, the shutters are actually very good! I have 2 left over, unless kit wants them I'll offer them back here to anyone that needs a pair.

    Cheers.

They are Kunkhe Technologies brand, 24VDC, 160mA, model D23 rotary solenoids. The bracket, flywheel and arm are by unknown others. Solenoid Datasheet

I have 2 remaining, 1 includes a position sensor (that can be removed). I am not sure if it's opto or Hall effect.

Travel is limited, the arm can be repositioned on the shaft as needed. AFAIC they work just like the GM20 in all regards, except these don't have much bounce and their response time to open is slower.

I found that these MOSFET driver boards bolt straight to the back of the motor using 2 x M3 screws and hollow pillars.
