if that true why no adjustment in the settings ? only for rgb
and setup wizard has no mention of more than 3 colours, now i am confused
When God said “Let there be light” he surely must have meant perfectly coherent light.
Hey Mr C -
Cuz yellow, by itself, and, Y + other colors looks different than G + those same colors... ie: the 577 Y of OPSL + 445 B, makes for a rather 'otherworldly' white, that you just can't get with RGB, let alone just G+B.. Additionally, 'optical fx', such as lumia, machitas, etc are *waay* richer / more-interesting with an RYGB-source, vs just an RGB... To me, the 'ultimate' OPSL system would be RYGGCBBB... that's, at least, most of the way to an Ion-pallete...
I'm about to post some pix in yer 'NYE' thread, that will make this 'point' about Y... IF that's OK with you... If not, just lemme know and I'll can-em...
..and, sorry, Sir Mark, bout the 'detour' in yer thread...

Heh, am I the only one who thought your porn star friend was also into lasers, so he brought one by...
thanks for the money shots
Hey Chris, LD2000 has 6 colour channels that you can configure in the Palette settings... Haven't seen any palette stuff in Beyond yet, but I would guess it will have all 6 channels... I use 4 of the channels in my RGBB projector... From memory they are red, green, blue, yellow, deep blue/violet and cyan, not necessarily in that order...
All good info Jon, you detour as much as you like
Cheers
Mark
Does it have anything to do with a big stadium in the British capital and a logo with 5 rings on it?
If it i, the opening ceremony will be all over the BBC anyway.
Other obvious question, but are there even any SHOW FILES that support other colours than R/G/B and a mix of the three? How do you tell your software you explicitly want 'yellow', not '50% green, 50% red'?
