Hi Frank,
It's going well but very slowly. I'm away from home so much. It's really bugging me ATM.
I'll, finally start a build thread to show some pics. I havnt fired up my EMS7000s yet. I've been trying to concentrate on machining parts on the few days I'm home. I've booked a week off when I get home on the 6th June to put some seriouse time into it.
Absolutely superb work on a very interesting design.
Looking forward to further updates on your glass 'n' glue concept, please keep the porny pictures coming![]()
A little bit werrrr, a little bit weyyyyyy, a little bit arrrrgggghhh
Another small step...
Hi Frankloving your wiring and hardware
It looks like it would be right at home in an aircraft's avionics bay.
Very neat!
I love those little details. I'm wishing I could find an excuse to use Lemo sockets and plugs. After using them on Krautkramer NDT equipment and building other test gear I fell in love.
My flat mate who is always building stuff and is a fellow hardware pervert has been buying military teflon insulated wiring and braided sleeves. He's even been using heat shrink braid. I've been "borrowing" some. I need to start buying my own
Love your work! Keep em coming.

Thanks Kit, I think you’re just as anal about details as I am. Well I got some vacation time coming up next week so I’m hoping to do some significant progressing then.
I do custom hand wired tube amps for guitar on the side, that’s where I get a lot of practice on the wiring side.
eye candy.Oh...really sweety!
really beautiful stuff!
Like we say here in the states , " That looks Titts " !!
" MANUFACTURER OF HIGH QUALITY MICRO LASER COMPONENTS" !!
http://www.microlaserlabs.com/
The last of the time consuming components before final assembly begins. Here the PBS/WP mounts with a very small footprint of only 20mm x 20mm. PBS is fully rotational and the PBS/WP baseplate X/Y tilt adjustable. Unfortunately one of the WP bit the dust during assembly, which throws back finishing one of the projectors. It’s not a good idea to drop a 0.5mm thick WP.Also some mirror mounts for the prism mirrors used for beam stacking.
Soup-herb work
