Default How to post pics via iPad or iPhone.

Hey guys, this is a bit of an elementary question I guess but what is the most efficient way for me to post pics via iOs devices?

I want to start posting more pics of my builds but as I can't upload pics to PL via my mobile devices I haven't posted many as I need to email them to or sync them on my notebook first which is a bit of a drag.

If I could do this it would be great as around 80% of my PL viewing and posting is via iPad or iPhone now.

I'm figuring the way to do this is to point to the images location on a URL instead of the local storage when uploading them to PL

Is this the way to do it? E.g.

    1- take photo on phone
2- upload to photo sharing site
3- write post and attach image via photo sharing site.

What photo sharing site do you suggest?

    Cheers
    Kit

Great question Kit. I find myself wanting to do the same sometimes, though all of my better images are synced first with my laptop so it's not as much of an issue. I think I have a picassa account. Well I think I have an account with at least one image sharing site. I'll do a test and see how useable it is...

    Hey Tony!

Thanks mate. I Have a MobileMe account and was thinking of using the storage on there but seeing as its being replaced by iCloud I thought its probably a dead end.

I'm not planning on migrating to Lion or iCloud for a few more months yet. I guess that will be the easiest place to store them when I do.

    Cheers

    Hey Kit,

I think the answer is the Photobucket app from Photobucket. I'm a bit tied up at the moment to try it as I haven't got a Photobucket account yet. Google hasn't got their own Picassa app, and I'm not convinced the 3rd party tools are kosher. Same with Flickr.

Let us know how you go

    Default half way there

OK I installed the Photobucket app and created an account. It seems to work well.

It gives several address options which would be the best one to point to for PL posts?

Thanks, I can't take too much credit, it's taking a lot of design cues from RGBs own compact6. It will be a little larger though to accommodate scan through effects and the IRIS ColorSafe.
