2.4Ghz and 5Ghz Wifi needs LOS - in theory 5Ghz needs NLOS but it doesn't work too well, we arent talking WiMAX here, which you *can* bounce of things (Buildings, etc)

So here are Nige's top hot picks for Surfleet Ti'ternet.

1) Fibre to Jims house... mmmm probably not..
2) Wifi Link to Jim's house... mmmmm probably not..
3) WiMAX Link to Jim's house.... mmmm we don't have the equipment or the licenses and OfCOM have vans you know.
4) HSPA/HSPA+/3G Link x3 on high gain antennas and then bonded and tunnelled to a Datacentre in London and then unbonded and patched into a 1Gb port with Linx peering, plausable!
5) Live without Internet for the weekend, priceless.

It's about 1300M to my house, surely there is something that will line of sight that?
If we hang the antenna out of the balcony window, where the Laserscope was poked out of and point it towards my house...........
I can get it house top window height at home........
