Fantastic weekend ... excelllent company and plenty of photons.... brilliant. Jim's done it again, thanks Jim your a real star

If you need to ask the question 'whats so good about a laser' - you won't understand the answer.

Well... another Surfleet draws to a close.
I really enjoy all the meets, but this one was that little bit more special as we managed to get the Purelight struck up, lasing, and scanning.

A super-mega-massive-pog-tastic thanks go out to everyone involved who helped tinker with it; a real team effort, and everyone's hard work paid off. Genuinely couldn't have done it without all your help.
Jim: You're a pog-pomming'-brilliant for sorting most of the 'leccy do-dar clat... bloody marvellous, 'FANKS!
Steve: Mega-mega-mega thanks for helping with the alignment + general operational-tat with it. Diamond geezer. (Also... thanks for the christening service / free shower performed outside from the gasser water drain hose. )
Tony: I don't think we would have got all the water fittings + general plumbing sorted without your help. Top doooode.
Nige: Thanks for the loan of your 'ose(s) + PCAOM shizzle. Really really pog on. Hopefully the tranny ride didn't leave you too battered and bruised.
Adrian: 100% spot on for coaxing the foob'd flow sensor relay into life. Mucho-appericiardo.
DSLI-Jon: Your manuals were invaluable. 'fanks!
Neil: Cheers for the help with the starter + general operation + for bringing the extra schematics.
Rob: Pom pom pom NEOS pom pom pom.
Con: Thanks for the persistant words of encouragement throughout the weekend treacle.

The few little extra bits that need to be done on it (replace flow switch, AA mount, new seals + etc.) will be done in time for the next meet. I can't run it up (no 3ph at home), so the Purelight will definitely have Surfleet as it's home.

Mega great to meet everyone else again. Great to meet some new folks too.
I'm still amazed the lengths + distances people go to make it. Dimmers: Rock on, good to see you again doooooode
Jem: Good to see you again and you got your new sound system, it sounded rather ace!

Jim: Mega ta for the hard work you put into pom'ing the place up for us.

Once again... cheers to all. Roll on the next one.

Great to finally meet you guys (after 3 years)!

The event is everything that Adey said it would be and then some. Teamwork, respect and a lot of great banter.

Kev, many many thanks for letting me loose on your setup. Awesome kit and massively appreciated!
Jem, apologies I never got to thank you personally for letting me have the little Argon. It'll definitely make an appearance at the next do (Awsome Bose by the way)!

    Onwards and upwards!

    Chris (aka Adey Mark 2)

I'll post some piccies up as soon as I've sorted the Java out on my work laptop.

Excellent weekend, thanks for the support and thanks to anyone and everyone for all the help in setting up and taking down/cleaning up.
Next one will be in April 2014, but I need to officially book the hall first for a final date.

It was awesome to see so many new faces there, and some old ones as well.
    Thanks again.

    Hi Chris

Welcome aboard, and it was great that you could join us this year . You do know that your bank account will never be the same again ?

    Cheers

    Pogtastic!

I rolled into work at about 11am.. ooops.

Great weekend, I wish it lasted longer - although the lack of showers at the hall is somewhat conducive to production of gentleman's relish. ick.

I can't get one track in particular that was played out of my head, so to help with this I introduce to you, the most talented Wing:

    Till next time!

Who wrote " sack the DJ", guys it was great to see you all again, new and old, also a small guy with hairy feet apparently.

Jim you do a great job organising these LEMs, it is appreciated. Well done Rob for the time you put in sorting the BIG boys, shame about the Yag but very good progress.

I know Dimmers is talking about another LEM his end of town, If anyone is thinking of driving over and wants to share fuel costs, 'Im in.

Thanks everyone, now how has all the photos??
