    Sounds like fun! The room is normally kept dark for the duration of the event, so there will be no problems viewing your holograms.

    Looking forward to meeting you. Will you be in town on Friday night? If so, be sure to join us at the venue starting at 4 PM. We usually spend about 2 hours setting things up before heading out for our customary "pre-FLEM dinner party". There's a great Italian restaurant just down the street from the venue called Angelo's. After dinner, we'll be back at the venue playing with lasers until around midnight or so... FLEM proper kicks off on Saturday AM at 10.

    Hey Marc;

    Aaron (AllThatWhichIs) lives in Eustis, which is about 6 miles from Tavares. Chris (LaserJock) lives in Orlando. Those are the only two people I know of that live in the local area, but Gary (JohnYayas) should be in town on vacation as well. That's about it as far as hobbyists go, but you've still got Bill and Justin at Pangolin, Fred and Amanda at One Stop, and Greg over at LSDI...

    Frank (Flecom) is in Miami, so we probably won't see him until late on Friday. Likewise, I don't know if you've ever met Fred (Astroguy) or not, but he will be coming up from the Ft Lauderdale area on Saturday.

    I'll be hanging around town in Tavares on Friday, and I might have DZ with me by then, so when you get in town, be sure to give me a ring.

    That goes for anyone else who is in the area and want's to get together, by the way. (Maybe we can all do lunch?) My cell phone # is (843) 324-0735.

    And Gary, a special thanks to you for volunteering to help clean up on Sunday morning! That would be awesome!

    Still haven't scored that last minute flight deal yet but, checking regularly. Keep chatting it up and I'm bound to say "f" it and buy the ticket even if it is $450.

    Orbitz is who I pretty much always use. I've done some combos of flying out of BWI, Allentown and flying into other airports besides MCO. I've tweaked a day before and a day after but haven't found anything much below $400. Not that it's the end of the world but, 30 hours of LEM for $400 I've had to wrestle with. TexLEM was less than that for three days with car, flight and lodging. SELEM was a grand but, I also rented a van to drive. But... that's SELEM and money be damned, I'm going. We'll see. Like I said, next couple days I may say "F" it and book anyway. You're right... I need a break. And sorry the beam table is giving you fits. It couldn't be in better hands though, right?

    (Wait 'til I have you figure out how to pull that Viasho out of smog's projector... you'll end up cussing me then too! LOL)

    Threadjack for a sec... I was going to PM Marc this question directly but, thought it might be helpful to others here to see answers.

    If you're in this as a business... now that I have my variance, my business license, working on insurance, etc. Are LEM's deductable as a business expense? (The travel cost/lodging and all that?)

    I seriously think it would be a reasonable expense. If in doubt, you can give me a sales pitch for something and then you can definitely expense it as a sales call.
