Hi Guys. any one have some "line" and "dots" filter glass to use in front of laser unit 532nm to get the effect needed? Any help would be greatly apreciated. Thanks John H

We've bought gratings from 'Meshtel' in the past - http://www.meshtel.com/ (click on the "Diffraction" link, on the left nav-frame, under "laser Display"..) - they have a wide-variety, were of good-quality, and the 'holographic-diffraction grates', (..down at the bottom of that page...) are cool... but, none are 'cheap', so, just a heads-up...

For a 'line' (..assuming you're wanting to make a 'fan-effect'..) you can just shoot a beam thru a simple glass or crystal-clear acrylic rod (..if less than 500mW..) which makes a nice 180˚+ 'line'... Or, sure, you can buy a grating, too...
