Default For a XY Mirror Set is this Good?

I am thinking about getting this set from Cambridge Technology, I just wanted to hear what are your thoughts on it.

5mm XY Mirror Set, Silicon Substrate, Flatness of 1C, V1
    Broadband Visible Dielectric 450nm-675nm Coating,
    ±30 deg optical.

Not enough info... What mount, what Galvo, what mirror inertia, what mirror shape?

Generally Cambridge high power white light mirrors are the best, your ordering parts from a world leader in technology, its hard to go wrong.

Are you just getting the mirrors or are you going to get the scanners as well?

Those are probably the the best optical galvanometers on the planet right now. Like Steve said anything from cambridge is of the highest quality.

    They will not be cheap.

I am getting The scanners as well I just was not sure what type of mirrors to get...I am a novice...They asked me "Do I need visible or silver coated mirrors" And I asked them to suggest what type of mirrors...because I really do not know.... I made it clear I am a hobbyist... and I also told them what laser spec's I am going to be using with them>>1000mW 640red - 1000mW 532Green and 1000mW 450Blue.

BTW "I have to have 5mm Mirrors"

    They suggested These mirrors>>

5mm XY Mirror Set for the Model 6210HSM60 or
    6215HSM60, Silicon Substrate, Flatness of 1C, V1
    Broadband Visible Dielectric 450nm-675nm Coating,
    ±30 deg optical.

They the mirrors are very costly also... $425 for both! I don't really care about the cost as long as they are really good quality... I am assuming They must be Very good at that price.....That's why I am asking in the forums

OK, In that case then yeah, those are the best. Those are what all of the pro's use in the really high-end projectors.
If money is not an object then those are what you want.

I'd ask a sales engineer one question based on what you have posted. Are the mirrors silicon, or really silicon dioxide aka Quartz?

The dielectric coating is fine, but the "Silicon" mirror perplexes me. If they have a true, lightweight. pure silicon mirror I'd be amazed, and it would push the state of the art even further.
It would be very low inertia, which is good. Quartz is just fine, and it can do much better with stress and high speed then glass.

You are buying the very best there is.

Those scanners and mirrors (and I am assuming they are fused silica) are VERY good. Do you mind posting their quote? For three W of RGB they seem extravagant, but maybe not?

GSI's entertainment pricing is less then or competitive with EYE MAGIC. Odds are he was asked not to disclose it. Not uncommon in these days. I know I was asked not to, when I priced 10 sets for a potential customer.
